This is the second video in a series from Quantum Gravity Research, each episode focusing on a different scientist, their origins and backgrounds, where their love of science started and how they came to work at QGR.
Ahmed Farag Ali received his PhD in theoretical physics from University of Lethbridge, Canada. His research focused on quantum gravity models with particular interests in open problems in Black Holes, Cosmology, Quantum Gravity Phenomenology . He published more than 60 papers in peer reviewed journals. His most known works includes the minimal length theories in quantum gravity. Ahmed’s research has been highlighted in many media platforms such as Nature, scientific American and Phys.org. He also wrote several articles for Scientific American-Arabic edition.
